Thank you for your prayers and replies.  We wanted to let you know that our work permit has been approved!  However, at the last minute they also requested a health check, which we will be doing shortly, and sending the results back.  Once we receive the work permit, we will go to Hong Kong to apply for our work visa.  Once the visa has been received we can go into China.  If everything goes as planned, we should be leaving for Hong Kong on September 19.  We’re not finished yet, but we are on the way.  PTL!

It’s now been two years since I came back from Mexico, where I spent six years in Baja California.
